How to get ready for your first online lesson

Follow these simple steps to quickly get set up for your piano lesson by video

Click on the logo, and follow the instructions.

We've tried other platforms, but due to issues with the sound quality we don't teach via Facetime, Google, Skype or Teams - sorry!

What equipment do you need?

 

Just a phone, computer, or tablet. Ensure the camera is not turned off, and turn the volume up. We'll need to see your full keyboard.

Don't have any tech skills?

 

Don't worry, it'll be really easy after the first time!

Can a parent/carer stay in the room as well?

 

Of course, that's completely fine. Just try to avoid the dog or siblings running in, to save your child from being distracted.

What if there are connection issues?

 

Sometimes we all get a weak internet connection - but you won't miss out on tuition time.

Do you record the Zoom lesson?

No, due to safeguarding issues we don't record the sessions
